Unemployment continues to fall in Aberconwy

Guto Bebb MP welcomed the latest unemployment figures for Aberconwy published today which showed that the number of JSA claimants continued to fall.

The figures shows that there are now 215 fewer claimants than there were in May 2013 and 80 less than in April 2014.

Guto Bebb, MP for Aberconwy said: “It is fantastic to see the number of unemployment claimants reduce yet again. The number of people who have the stability of work is increasing providing greater financial security for families across Aberconwy.  Small businesses from Betws y Coed to Llandudno Junction are feeling increasingly confident about the economy and are taking on new staff as a result, helping to tackle unemployment across Aberconwy.  I congratulate them on their invaluable work.”
