We’re going to be working on the water system in your area
One of the main things we do at Welsh Water is provide you with a first-class supply of drinking water every time you open the tap. To make sure we continue doing this, we sometimes need to do some work on the system and the time has come for us to do this in your community.
Where and when?
We need to carry out essential maintenance work on our water pipes that are on the pipe bridge that crosses the River Conwy close to Dolgarrog Railway Station.
The work will start on Monday February 11th and if everything goes to plan it should be finished by March 1st. So that we can carry out this work safely and efficiently the pipe bridge will be fenced off and closed to pedestrians. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we will do our best to finish the work as soon as possible.
We’ll be using two of our contract partners to help us get the work done. They are called UTS and E Jones so you may notice their vehicles in the area while the work is happening. They will be working Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm, but they may sometimes need to work later or on weekends to get the work finished.
