Good News for Farmers | Newyddion Da i Ffermwyr

Following a meeting with FUW President Glyn Roberts and the Chair of the FUW Dairy and Milk Committee, Dei Davies, Aberconwy MP Guto Bebb wrote to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) asking them to offer flexible Time to Pay agreements for diary and lamb farmers.  Yn dilyn cyfarfod â Glyn Roberts, Llywydd yr FUW a Dei Davies, Cadeirydd Pwyllgor Llaeth a Chynnyrch Llaeth yr FUW ysgrifennodd Guto Bebb at Gyllid a Thollau ei Mawrhydi i ofyn iddynt gynnig cytundebau Amser i Dalu i ffermwyr llaeth ac ŵyn. 

Guto Bebb drives forward Cars for Teacher Campaign.

In February 2015 Guto Bebb got behind the Cars for Teachers campaign, lobbying for teachers to be given access to salary sacrifice car schemes like all other public sector employees.  Secretary of State for Education, Nicky Morgan MP, will be reviewing teachers’ benefits in the next School Teachers Review Body remit this Autumn.

Guto Bebb supports Holocaust Memorial Day.

Guto Bebb MP once again will be supporting Holocaust Memorial Day.  Organised by the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, Holocaust Memorial Day remembers the millions of people murdered during the Holocaust, under Nazi persecution and in subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.  Unwaith eto bydd yr Aelod Seneddol Guto Bebb yn cefnogi Diwrnod Cofio’r Holocost. Trefnir y diwrnod hwn gan Ymddiriedolaeth Diwrnod Cofio’r Holocost i gofio am y miliynau o bobl a lofruddiwyd gan y Natsiaid yn yr Holocost, ac mewn hil-laddiadau diweddarach yn Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia a Darfur. 

Guto Bebb commits to help beat cancer sooner.

Guto Bebb has pledged his support to help Cancer Research UK save more lives in his constituency and across the UK.  Guto attended a parliamentary event held by the charity in Westminster recently (8 July) to speak to Cancer Research UK about how MPs can help keep cancer at the top of the new parliament’s agenda. 

Guto Bebb, MP for Aberconwy is sworn in.

Guto Bebb, recently re-elected Member of Parliament for Aberconwy, was formally sworn in on Tuesday, 19th May 2015.  Members of Parliament are required to take an oath of allegiance to the Crown before they take their seats in Parliament.Guto is looking forward to getting back to doing the job 12,513 people elected him to do – representing the residents of Aberconwy.
