Holocaust Educational Trust.

This week Aberconwy MP Guto Bebb signed the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Book of Commitment, pledging his commitment to Holocaust Memorial Day and honouring those who were murdered during the Holocaust as well as paying tribute to the extraordinary Holocaust survivors who work tirelessly to educate young people.

Wales Office drinks reception.

Aberconwy MP Guto Bebb attended a Wales Office drinks reception with Secretary of State for Wales Alun Cairns and Leader of the Welsh Conservative Group in the National Assembly for Wales, Andrew RT Davies AM.

Climbing the Elizabeth Tower.

Elizabeth Tower, more commonly known as Big Ben, is one of the world’s most iconic buildings.  Big Ben is nickname for the great bell that resides inside the tower, at the northernmost end of the Palace of Westminster.  Completed in 1859, for many years the tower was simply named the Clock Tower.

Ysgol Y Gogarth visit Parliament.

Pupils and teachers from Ysgol Y Gogarth in Llandudno were welcomed to Parliament yesterday and after having a full tour of the old part of the Palace of Westminster, including the Commons, Lords and Queen’s Robing Room, the children joined Guto for a Q&A.

Employment reaches a record high with 31.77 million people in work.

Today the Office for National Statistics released another record-breaking set of figures. The number of people in work is at a record high as the latest set of figures show nearly 175,000 more people in work up until July, than in the previous three months.
