Police and Crime Commissioner wants your views. // Mae’r Comisiynydd Heddlu a Throseddu eisiau eich barn.

Arfon Jones, the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Wales is in the process of reviewing North Wales Police’s Police and Crime Plan, as well as setting the local police tax for next year, and he wants to hear your views. Do you agree with focusing on domestic abuse, sexual abuse, organised crime, modern slavery and neighbourhood safety or do you think North Wales Police should focus on other issues? Do you think you get value for money out of North Wales Police - should they increase their local police tax, or cut it?

Mae Arfon Jones, Comisiynydd Heddlu a Throseddu Gogledd Cymru wrthi’n adolygu Cynllun Heddlu a Throseddu Gogledd Cymru, yn ogystal â phennu’r dreth leol ar gyfer yr heddlu ar gyfer y flwyddyn nesaf, ac mae’n awyddus i glywed eich barn. Ydych chi’n cytuno â chanolbwyntio ar drais domestig, cam-drin rhywiol, troseddu cyfundrefnol, caethwasiaeth fodern a diogelwch y gymdogaeth neu ydych chi’n credu y dylai Heddlu Gogledd Cymru ganolbwyntio ar faterion eraill? Ydych chi’n credu eich bod chi’n cael gwerth eich arian gan Heddlu Gogledd Cymru – a ddylent gynyddu eu treth leol ar gyfer yr heddlu, neu ei thorri?

TfW bid for investment in railway stations. // Cynnig Trafnidiaeth Cymru am fuddsoddiad mewn gorsafoedd rheilffyrdd.

Change is in the air on local railways. One change Transport for Wales, or TfW, are anxious to make is to provide more step free access at the railway stations they manage. In many parts of the UK train operating companies work with UK Government to improve accessibility at the stations they manage.

Mae newid ar droed ar y rheilffyrdd lleol. Un o’r newidiadau y mae Trafnidiaeth Cymru’n awyddus i’w wneud yw sicrhau rhagor o fynediad heb risiau yn y gorsafoedd rheilffyrdd y mae’n eu rheoli. Mae cwmnïau trenau’n gweithio gyda Llywodraeth y DU mewn sawl rhan o’r DU ar wella hygyrchedd y gorsafoedd maen nhw’n eu rheoli.

Local authority funding update from the Welsh Local Government Association. // Yr wybodaeth ddiweddaraf am gyllid i awdurdodau lleol gan Gymdeithas Llywodraeth Leol Cymru.

The announcement of additional resources for local services across Wales follows productive discussions over the past month between Welsh Government and the WLGA. The Welsh Government committed to put councils at the “front of the queue” for distributing the money arising from the Chancellor’s budget. The Welsh Government has worked closely with council leaders to address the most significant service pressures. The funding floor has been raised from -1% to -0.5% and on top of this an additional £13m has been provided to take the Welsh average to a flat cash settlement, meaning more money for core services like education and social care.

Mae'r cyhoeddiad am adnoddau ychwanegol ar gyfer gwasanaethau lleol ledled Cymru yn dilyn trafodaethau cynhyrchiol dros y mis diwethaf rhwng Llywodraeth Cymru a CLlLC. Ymrwymodd Llywodraeth Cymru i roi cynghorau ar flaen y ciw ar gyfer dosbarthu'r arian sy'n deillio o gyllideb y Canghellor. Mae Llywodraeth Cymru wedi gweithio'n agos gydag arweinwyr cynghorau i fynd i'r afael â'r pwysau mwyaf sylweddol ar wasanaethau. Codwyd y terfyn ariannu isaf o-1% i-0.5% ac ar ben hyn mae £ 13m ychwanegol wedi'i ddarparu i gymryd cyfartaledd Cymru i setliad arian parod gwastad, sy'n golygu mwy o arian ar gyfer gwasanaethau craidd fel addysg a gofal cymdeithasol.

Afon Dwyryd Estuary // Aber Afon Dwyryd

Residents and businesses throughout Aberconwy are lucky to live in, or close to, the Snowdonia National Park. The park covers more than just Snowdon and the mountains in the immediate vicinity - it covers a significant part of North West Wales and stretches southwards towards Cader Idris and Machynlleth. Naturally the most stunning parts of the national park are in Aberconwy, however, the Afon Dwyryd Estuary, separating Penrhyndeudraeth and Port Meirion from Talsarnau in Gwynedd, is recognised as one of the park’s beauty spots.

Mae trigolion a busnesau ledled Aberconwy'n ddigon ffodus o fyw ym Mharc Cenedlaethol Eryri, neu'n agos iddo. Mae'r Parc yn cynnwys mwy na dim ond yr Wyddfa a'r mynyddoedd cyfagos – mae'n cynnwys rhan sylweddol o ogledd orllewin Cymru ac yn ymestyn i'r de tua Chader Idris a Machynlleth. Mae'r rhannau mwyaf godidog o'r Parc Cenedlaethol yn Aberconwy siŵr iawn, ond mae aber afon Dwyryd, sy'n gwahanu Penrhyndeudraeth a Phortmeirion oddi wrth Dalsarnau yng Ngwynedd, yn cael ei gydnabod fel un o ardaloedd harddwch y parc.

Will you take the #10poundpledge for Small Business Saturday? // Fyddwch chi'n gwneud #addewid10punt ar gyfer Sadwrn y Busnesau Bach?

Small Business Saturday, traditionally the first Saturday in December, is fast approaching. The Small Business Saturday campaign is an opportunity to recognise the positive contribution small businesses make to our high streets and communities (although shopping small and local is for the whole year, not just Small Business Saturday!).

Mae Sadwrn y Busnesau Bach, sef dydd Sadwrn cyntaf mis Rhagfyr yn draddodiadol, yn prysur agosáu. Mae ymgyrch Sadwrn y Busnesau Bach yn gyfle i gydnabod y cyfraniad cadarnhaol mae busnesau bach yn ei wneud i'n strydoedd mawr a'n cymunedau (ond cofiwch fod siopa mewn busnesau bach lleol yn rhywbeth gallwch chi ei wneud gydol y flwyddyn, nid y diwrnod hwn yn unig!).

The competition is the first of its kind run by the Council of Europe and is open until 5th December for applications. The theme is “Proud of our Heritage, Open to the World.”
