Are you an EU Citizen who is settled in Aberconwy?

There has been a lot of uncertainty about your rights as an EU Citizen living and working in the UK.  We have taken many enquiries over the last two years in the office from concerned people so we welcome today’s news about the EU Settlement Scheme.  We hope that this will provide reassurance to

Delegated Legislation Committee on Energy Efficiency // Pwyllgor Deddfwriaeth Ddirprwyedig ar Effeithlonrwydd Ynni

From watching the television news recently, one could almost be forgiven for thinking that all Members of Parliament do with their time in Westminster is make speeches in the House of Commons and give media interviews. It has sometimes felt in the last few months, maybe years that all the business of the House has come to a grinding halt.

Wrth wylio newyddion y teledu’n ddiweddar, gellid maddau i bobl am feddwl mai’r unig beth mae Aelodau Seneddol yn ei wneud yn San Steffan yw siarad yn Nhŷ’r Cyffredin a rhoi cyfweliadau i’r cyfryngau. Cafwyd y teimlad weithiau yn ystod y misoedd, os nad y blynyddoedd, diwethaf bod busnes y Tŷ wedi dod i stop llwyr.

Next week is FUW’s Farmhouse Breakfast Week // Yr Wythnos nesaf yw Wythnos Brecwast Ffermdai UAC

As a politician Guto attends many many events in the constituency over the period of a year. All of them are different and each visit has its own unique flavour. But, there are some annual events which are always looked forward to and next week contains one such constituency engagement.

Fel gwleidydd mae Guto’n bresennol mewn llawer o iawn o ddigwyddiadau ar hyd a lled ei etholaeth mewn blwyddyn. Mae pob un ohonynt yn wahanol ac mae naws wahanol i bob digwyddiad. Ond, mae rhai digwyddiadau blynyddol y bydd edrych ymlaen mawr atynt, ac mae un o’r digwyddiadau etholaethol hynny’n cael ei gynnal yr wythnos nesaf.

Public Meeting - Glan y Mor Road/Siop Ffon Tom Crossing // Cyfarfod Cyhoeddus - Croesfan Ffordd Glan y Môr / Siop Ffon Tom

This crossing was closed in 2011 and Guto Bebb MP and Cllr. Mike Priestley have made an application to have the crossing re-opened. (The method of doing this is to apply for an addition/amendment to the Definitive Map.)

This public meeting on 1st February is an opportunity for Guto and Mike to advise local residents of the arguments that they have presented to the Planning Inspectorate.

Cafodd y groesfan hon ei chau yn 2011 ac mae Guto Bebb AC a’r Cynghorydd Mike Priestley wedi gwneud cais i ailagor y groesfan. (Y ffordd o wneud hynny yw gwneud cais am ychwanegiad/newid i’r Map Diffiniol.)

Mae’r cyfarfod cyhoeddus hwn ar 1 Chwefror yn gyfle i Guto a Mike i hysbysu preswylwyr lleol o’r dadleuon a gyflwynwyd ganddynt i’r Arolygiaeth Gynllunio.

Hope for the Future 3/3

Eighteen months ago I was contacted by Laura D’Hennin from Hope for the Future, a climate change campaign group set up raise awareness around this issue, as well as to encourage people to engage with and lobby their MPs.

Ddeunaw mis yn ôl cefais ohebiaeth gan Laura D'Hennin o Hope for the Future, grŵp ymgyrchu ar newid yn yr hinsawdd a sefydlwyd i godi ymwybyddiaeth o'r mater hwn, yn ogystal ag annog pobl i ymgysylltu â'u Haelodau Seneddol a'u lobïo.
