As you are undoubtedly aware there will be a General Election on 12th December 2019.
As I indicated back in July I have not sought the Conservative Party nomination for the Aberconwy Constituency since I have become increasingly unhappy with the direction of travel of the party over the past three years. Parliament will rise for dissolution on Tuesday 5th November and the next MP for Aberconwy will be announced in the early hours of 13th December when the result of the election is known.
During this period, I and my office will be available to assist and support residents with any problems that they may have and we can be contacted as usual on our normal contact numbers.
After the General Election, we will complete existing casework and deal appropriately with all confidential information and casework details held. The office will remain open until 3rd February 2020. The telephone number will remain as 01492 583094 however the parliamentary email addresses will close on 11th December 2019.
Our email addresses for the following two months from 11th December will be:
If we are unable to complete any casework before February we will contact the individual constituents to seek their instructions on whether they wish to have their information passed to the next MP or wish to make alternative arrangements.
If you have any questions about this process or have any concerns, please do not hesitate to make contact.
